Douglas A. Cherry, partner in the Sarasota office, participated in a panel discussion on the Pitfalls and Opportunities of Social Media at the American Advertising Federation-Suncoast's first ever Luncheon Panel Series – Educational Seminar on May 26, 2011. In this first program, experts discussed the perils and prospects of social media marketing. In addition to Mr. Cherry, the panel included Peter Taylor with the Sarasota Mental Health Care System, and Amanda Eyer with AtLarge. Vicki Vega with The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce moderated.

Mr. Cherry is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Cherry's practice focuses on intellectual property (patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret and unfair competition) consulting, acquisition, licensing and litigation.
