Melissa A. Register, associate in the Tampa office, spoke at the June 2011 Florida Bar Annual meeting. Her topic was "Estate Planning and Probate Law Update."

Ms. Register has experience in estate and trust planning, administration and litigation, as well as tax planning, premarital agreements, charitable organizations and corporate law. Ms. Register is a recipient of the Tampa Bay Business Journal's 2008 Up & Comers Award and has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star in 2010 and 2011 by Super Lawyers® magazine.

Ms. Register received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida College of Law and her B.A. in Language (French) and International Trade, magna cum laude, from Clemson University.
