Sarasota Lawyers, Meghan Serrano and Brett Henson presented a CLE for The Florida Bar entitled, “Covid-19 Considerations for Real Property and Construction Disputes.”  The program was moderated by fellow Shumaker lawyer, Erin Hope Christy. The October 14th course provided a framework for understanding COVID-19 related real property and construction disputes, practical recommendations for drafting dispute avoidance or mitigation provisions in the wake of COVID-19, and a survey of recent trends regarding potentially available coverage under property insurance policies. The course also supplied two hours of CLE credit and two hours of credit for certification in the areas of business litigation, construction law, and real estate. To learn more visit the course page on the Florida Bar website found here
