TAMPA, FL – Mindi M. Richter, associate in the Tampa Office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of The First Tee of Tampa Bay.  The First Tee of Tampa Bay’s mission is to impact the lives of young people and provide future opportunities by creating affordable and accessible golf experiences through a variety of programming and character building activities.

In the area of intellectual property, Ms. Richter has counseled clients in trademark selection, registration and protection.  Ms. Richter has experience in litigating trademark and unfair competition matters, both in the United States Patent and Trademark Office as well as in state and federal courts across the country.

Ms. Richter received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.A. in Journalism from Indiana University.
