TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Duane A. Daiker, partner in the Tampa office, has been appointed to the editorial board of the Fidelity & Surety Digest.  The Digest is published quarterly by the American Bar Association’s Fidelity & Surety Law Committee.

Mr. Daiker represents individual and corporate clients in a variety of commercial litigation and appellate matters in state and federal court.  He also represents sureties in connection with payment, performance, and fiduciary bonds.  In addition to his full-time practice, Mr. Daiker serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College, teaching classes in legal research and writing.

Mr. Daiker is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Appellate Practice Specialist and is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as an Arbitrator and Circuit Court Mediator.

Mr. Daiker received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Florida in 1994, and his B.A., with high honors, from the University of Florida in 1991.
