TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Brian R. Lambert and Michael T. Trocke, partners in the Tampa office, participated in the 22nd Annual Southern Surety Conference April 13 – 15, 2011 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Their presentation was entitled “Surety Workshop and Case Study: Working Through Defaults on Condominium Projects.”

Mr. Lambert is Board Certified in Construction Law and devotes a substantial amount of his practice to all facets of construction.  He has handled a wide variety of complex construction disputes involving project delays, schedule acceleration, construction defects and differing site conditions, as well as payment disputes concerning lien and bond claims.  Mr. Lambert received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, and his B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida.

Mr. Trocke’s principal areas of practice are fidelity, surety and specialty bonds, real estate, corporate, business, and lending transactions.  Mr. Trocke is a licensed real estate broker and co-founder of the Southern and Northeast Surety and Fidelity Claims Association, Inc.  Mr. Trocke is certified as a County Mediator, Circuit Mediator, and AAA Panel of Neutrals and AAA Mediator.  Mr. Trocke is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  Mr. Trocke received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and his B.I.E., with honors, from Michigan State University and the University of Florida.
