TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michele Leo Hintson, partner in the Tampa office, has been appointed to the Junior League of Tampa’s 2012-2013 Board of Directors, serving as Chair of the Grants Committee. For over 86 years, The Junior League of Tampa has been committed to building a healthier, more educated and safer community for Tampa Bay’s children and their families. The 1,700+ members currently provide more than 70,000 hours of service to the community each year, while spending nearly $250,000 annually on Junior League of Tampa projects.

Ms. Hintson handles a variety of commercial litigation matters including, payment and performance bond disputes, labor and employment disputes, and business disputes. Ms. Hintson has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star in 2009, 2010 and 2011 by Super Lawyers® magazine. Ms. Hintson received her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
