SARASOTA, FL - Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Ryan Scott Nichols has joined the Sarasota office as an associate in the Broker-Dealer Litigation Practice Group.    

Prior to joining Shumaker Ryan was with the Office of the State Attorney-Sixth Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney.  Ryan also served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps where he was the recipient of the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Ryan received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law and his B.A. from Tulane University.
