TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Steven S. Grieco, partner in the Tampa office, has graduated from Leadership Tampa as a member of the Class of 2013 and has been selected to represent the Class of 2013 on the Leadership Tampa Alumni Cabinet for the upcoming year.   Leadership Tampa is a rigorous executive leadership program developed by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce to educate its participants on issues, opportunities, and challenges in Hillsborough County. 

Steve’s principal areas of practice include corporate finance and banking, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets and securities, corporate governance and general corporate matters.  Steve regularly represents commercial lenders and corporate borrowers in a variety of corporate finance transactions including secured and unsecured commercial loan transactions, as well as representing corporate clients in mergers and acquisition transactions, asset purchases and sales, other corporate transactions and corporate governance matters. He represents clients in a variety of sectors including financial institutions and others providing financial services; physician groups, hospital systems and others in the healthcare industry; telecom related companies; manufacturing; and real estate.  Prior to joining Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, Steve practiced for 10 years in London and New York with Clifford Chance LLP and Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP focusing on international debt and equity offerings, structured finance, and leveraged finance transactions.  Steve received his J.D., summa cum laude, and his M.B.A., with distinction, from State University of New York at Buffalo.  Steve received his B.S. from Cornell University.
