TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael M. Briley, partner in the Toledo, Ohio office, has been appointed to the National Conference of Freight Counsel ("NCFC").  NCFC is comprised of 120 transportation lawyers in the country and is extended by invitation only. 

Mike provides regular antitrust and transportation law counseling for clients involved in a variety of domestic and international industries such as glass, consumer products, industrial products, chemicals, transportation, health care, building products, and scientific products.  He frequently provides corporate counseling in the areas of antitrust compliance and risk avoidance, mergers and acquisitions and litigation avoidance, as well as national and international transportation law issues.

Mike received his J.D., cum laude, from Ohio State University and his B.A., with distinction, from Miami University.
