Cheri A. Budzynski Selected for Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation Leadership Institute Class of 2014-2015

TOLEDO, OH - The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Cheri A. Budzynski, associate in the Toledo office, was selected to join the 2014-2015 Class of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation Leadership Institute.

The Leadership Institute is a program of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation.  It was created by recognized women leaders in Ohio to assist women lawyers in developing their leadership skills.  The mission of the Leadership Institute is to advance inclusiveness within the legal profession and supplement the professional skills of women lawyers by enhancing their leadership, business development, and communication skills for the benefit of the diverse communities in which they work, live, and serve.

Cheri practices in the environmental practice group, focusing on environmental law, administrative law, and litigation.  Her primary practice has focused on matters falling under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and Solid Waste Regulations.

Cheri is a member of the Toledo Bar Association, Toledo Women’s Bar Association, and the Ohio Bar Association.

Cheri received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law.  She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience, from Bowling Green State University, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Lourdes College.
