TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that William R. Swindle, partner in the Tampa office, chaired a panel discussion on Recent Transfer Tax Developments at the Suncoast Estate Planning Council meeting on Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Bill has authored numerous articles on tax and estate planning matters published in law reviews and in national and bar publications and is a frequent lecturer on tax and estate planning topics.  He also serves on the Editorial Board of Practical Tax Strategies magazine.

Bill received his J.D., with honors, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, and his B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Florida Southern College.
