Kathleen G. Reres and Brian C. Willis Spoke to Leto High School Students

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Kathleen G. Reres and Brian C. Willis, associates in the Tampa office, spoke to a group of Leto High School students on May 1, 2014 about what it takes to get into law school and what it is like being a lawyer.  The talk was part of the AVID program at Leto High School and was presented in connection with the Tampa Downtown Partnership.  The AVID program helps students by offering a comprehensive experience in college preparation.

Kathleen represents a variety of business organizations, financial entities, homeowners associations, condominium associations and individuals.   She regularly represents title insurance underwriters and their insureds as well as clients involved with master planned communities, condominiums and homeowners associations.  Kathleen  received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Central Florida.  

Brian represents individuals and corporations involved in business, contract and real estate disputes.  He assists clients in a wide variety of industries including real estate, manufacturing, health care, construction, state and local government, community associations, banking and finance, and start-up companies.  Brian received his J.D. from The George Washington University and his B.S., magna cum laude, from Florida State University.
