TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michele Leo Hintson, partner in the Tampa office, has been named Chair of the Community Advisory Board of the Leadership Council of the Junior League of Tampa.  For over 86 years, The Junior League of Tampa has been committed to building a healthier, more educated and safer community for Tampa Bay’s children and their families.  The 1,700+ members currently provide more than 70,000 hours of service to the community each year, while spending nearly $250,000 annually on Junior League of Tampa projects.

Michele dedicates her practice to representing businesses, insurance companies, health care organizations and individuals in all aspects of the dispute resolution process, including, performing pre-suit investigations and risk management analysis, attending mediation sessions, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, conducting depositions, and advocating for clients at hearings, trials, and arbitrations.  She has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014 by Super Lawyers magazine.  Michele received her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
