TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Matthew T. Kemp has joined the Toledo office as an Associate in the Litigation and Environmental Practice Groups. 

Matt has substantial experience representing companies and municipalities in environmental and land use litigation and federal and state enforcement matters, as well as general commercial litigation.  He also has experience with product liability defense, environmental permitting, and renewable energy development.

Matt is a native of Northwest Ohio, and he received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College.  Following law school, Matt served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jack Zouhary of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and he practiced commercial litigation and environmental law at a large Midwest firm.
