TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Robin L. Todd, immigration paralegal in the Tampa office, received the 13th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Award for Outstanding Paralegal for her service in connection with Project H.E.L.P. (Homeless Experience Legal Protection), which offers free weekly legal clinics at the Metropolitan Ministries Outreach Center, each Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Robin has served as Coordinator for the H.E.L.P. Clinic since its inception. She has been instrumental in recruiting a volunteer attorney base for the project, and is responsible each week for ensuring that the clinic is fully staffed with lawyers and non-lawyer staff. More than 100 homeless clients have been served since the clinic’s launch in July 2014, and many have seen their lives significantly changed as a result of the clinic’s work.
