Daniel J. DeLeo Elected to Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County Board of Directors

SARASOTA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Daniel J. DeLeo, partner in the Sarasota office, has been elected to the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County’s Board of Directors. The EDC is a public/private partnership focused on growing and diversifying the economy of Sarasota County, while enhancing the county’s unique natural and cultural environments. The EDC is the catalyst for creating a vibrant economy that is sustainable and globally competitive. 

Dan's practice involves commercial disputes, with an emphasis on representing manufacturers in construction defect litigation, contract disputes and business torts. He has extensive experience in the areas of business litigation, products liability, and class actions. Dan is also the Chair of Citizens For Better Schools and a member of the Sarasota County Financial Advisory Committee. He is a Board Member and past President of the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast and a member of Leadership Florida.
