Dan is Board Certified in Business Litigation, and his practice focuses on commercial disputes, with an emphasis on representing businesses in contract disputes, business torts, and complex business litigation. He is an experienced trial lawyer with experience in construction defect litigation, class actions, and products liability claims.
Leveraging his broad litigation background, Dan represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as arbitration proceedings and mediations. He has experience in:
- General business litigation, business organizations, creditors’ rights, the Uniform Commercial Code, restrictive covenants, and business torts
- Handling real estate valuation litigation, real estate property development litigation, and fraud and conversion claims
- Commercial foreclosures and other complex litigation both on behalf of plaintiffs or defendants
- Representing clients in numerous jurisdictions outside of Florida and Illinois, including New York, Michigan, Indiana, Georgia, North Carolina, and Washington. He is licensed to practice in both Florida and Illinois, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal court districts in both states
