Michael M. Briley Elected Vice-Chair of Ohio State Bar Association Antitrust Law Section

TOLEDO, OH – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael M. Briley, partner in the Toledo office, has been elected Vice-Chairman of the Antitrust Law Section of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA) for 2016, and Chairman of the Section for 2017.

Mike was elected at the annual meeting of the OSBA's Antitrust Law Section, held in conjunction with the 2015 Antitrust Institute, where Mike also served as a panelist speaker. 

Mike provides regular antitrust and transportation law counseling for clients involved in a variety of domestic and international industries.  He frequently provides corporate counseling in the areas of antitrust compliance and risk avoidance, mergers and acquisitions and litigation avoidance, as well as national and international transportation law issues.

Mike is a former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the OSBA's Antitrust Law Section.  He is also a member of the American Bar Association's Antitrust Law Section.  Mike is a recipient of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law Community Service Award and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the antitrust law category. 

Mr. Briley received his J.D., cum laude, from the Ohio State University College of Law and his B.A., with distinction, from Miami University.
