TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce a major addition to their Tampa, Florida office. 

Andrew J. Fruit has joined the firm as a Partner in the Corporate Practice.  Andrew is a corporate attorney who has substantial experience in representing businesses and entrepreneurs involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and governance, commercial contracts, securities, corporate finance, and other complex business transactions. His clients include family-owned and other privately held businesses, entrepreneurs and public companies.  Andrew’s experience spans a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, technology and software.  He has experience in general corporate reorganization and corporate structure issues.

Andrew received his J.D., with honors, and his M.B.A. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and his B.A., with honors, in Economics from the University of Florida.
