CHARLOTTE, NC – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Charlotte associate Josh Hayes is an appointed Director and the Secretary of ArtPop for a 2 year term beginning January 2016. Artpop is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote local artists through available media space by partnering with local Arts & Science counsels and outdoor advertising companies.   Since its formation in 2015, Artpop’s founder, Wendy Hickey, has expanded the Artpop program to over a dozen cities nationwide, including Charlotte, Las Vegas, and Tampa.  In September 2016, ArtPop Street Gallery partnered with the CoSign Project to work with Charlotte’s local business owners and artists in an effort to enhance Plaza Midwood’s Business Signage.

Josh dedicates his practice to representing clients in general corporate and commercial transactional matters as well as commercial litigation. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
