Peter R. Silverman Inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals

TOLEDO, OH - The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Peter R. Silverman, partner in the Toledo, Ohio office, has been named a member of the Ohio Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN). 

NADN is an association whose membership consists of ADR professionals distinguished by their hands-on experience in the field of civil and commercial conflict resolution, and by their commitment to the practice of alternative dispute resolution.  Membership into NADN is by invitation only and limited to professional mediators and arbitrators who are well established as trusted neutrals amongst the legal community within their state of practice.  All Academy members have been found to meet stringent practice criteria and are amongst the most in-demand neutrals in their respective states, as nominated by both peers and litigation firms.

Peter has extensive experience in the area of commercial litigation and general business counsel.  He has substantial experience in a number of specialty areas, including franchising, alternative dispute resolution, intellectual property, securities, antitrust, and cybersecurity.  Peter is an active arbitrator and mediator.  He is a member of the AAA's Large, Complex Case Arbitration Panel, the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, and serves on the Early Dispute Resolution Committee of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution. 

Peter received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan and his B.A., with honors, from George Washington University.
