Christian Staples Named Honoree for the 2017 North Carolina Leaders in the Law Awards

CHARLOTTE, NC –– Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Charlotte  attorney Christian Staples has been named an honoree for the 2017 North Carolina Leaders in the Law awards hosted by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly.The award honors legal professionals licensed and practicing law in the state of North Carolina, who have gone above and beyond in their profession and their community.These honorees represent the most influential individuals within our state’s legal community. A reception for the honorees will be held on the evening of September 15, 2017, at the Hilton Charlotte Center City, and a special section of North Carolina Lawyers Weekly will be printed for the event. North Carolina Lawyers Weekly has been providing essential legal news, opinions, and court decisions to its readers since 1988 and is a top source of legal information for practicing attorneys in the state.                                   

Christian maintains a diverse legal practice representing businesses and individuals in litigation and general corporate matters. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in North Carolina and South Carolina. Christian received his J.D. from Campbell University and his B.A. from Wake Forest University. Outside of his practice, Christian serves on the Board of Directors for the Mecklenburg County Bar and is the immediate past Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar Young Lawyers Division. Christian also volunteers his time with local non-profits such as the First Tee of Charlotte and Habitat for Humanity.
