SARASOTA, FL – Brett M. Henson, an associate in the Sarasota office, was recently appointed to the Downtown Sarasota Alliance (DSA) Board of Directors. The DSA is a non-profit organization that aims to provide a unified voice of the merchants, residents, property owners, and businesses to promote and enrich downtown Sarasota.
“All of our newest Board members embody the spirit of community and bring expertise and energy to the table,” said Francine DiFilippo Kent, Board Chair. “We are very fortunate to have their support and participation as we move forward in continuing our mission to promote and enrich Downtown Sarasota. The future of the downtown area is dynamically changing and open for discussion. We want to facilitate a positive future.”
Brett devotes a substantial portion of his practice to handling all types of construction disputes, including claims related to breach of contract, delay damages, workmanship and design defects, fidelity and surety bonds, and Florida’s Construction Lien Law. He also counsels and assists construction industry professionals regarding dispute avoidance procedures, along with contract preparation, review, and negotiation.

Downtown Sarasota Alliance & the World Rowing Championships
