TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Janis E. Susalla Foley has been appointed to the Ohio Supreme Court’s Commission on the Certification of Attorneys as Specialists. She is serving a three-year term ending December 31, 2020.
The Commission consists of eighteen members appointed by the Ohio Supreme Court. Under Rule XIV of the Supreme Court’s Rules for the Government of the Bar of Ohio, the Commission is responsible for approving and regulating the organizations that certify lawyers practicing in Ohio as specialists.
Janis has over 32 years of experience and focuses her practice primarily in the areas of asbestos litigation management and employment law defense and compliance. She is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Janis received her B.A., cum laude, from Western Michigan University and her J.D., cum laude, from The University of Toledo College of Law.
