Mandi Ballard Clay Appointed to the Florida Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Mental Health and Wellness

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that on July 1, 2018, Tampa associate Mandi Ballard Clay will join The Florida Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Mental Health and Wellness of Florida Lawyers. The new standing committee will be focused on educating Bar members about mental health issues and creating paths to wellness for those who need them. Mandi will also continue to serve on the Florida Bar's voluntary bar liaison committee.

Mandi is a certified mediator and commercial litigator with experience in a variety of subject matters, including labor & employment, intellectual property, restrictive covenants, and class actions. She represents both public and private sector clients of all sizes by providing guidance before, during and after litigation. Mandi has experienced the practice of law from both sides of the bench, having clerked for U.S. District Judge Gregory A. Presnell and U.S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell, both in the Middle District of Florida. She prides herself on being efficient and responsive to her clients and is dedicated to providing practical advice tailored to fit each client’s specific goals.
