Mandi Ballard Clay Named Vice President of Programs for the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers

TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Tampa associate Mandi Ballard Clay has been named Vice President of Programs for the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers (HAWL). In this role, Mandi will be planning programs around a theme of understanding one another, focusing on diversity and inclusion in the practice of law, as well as better understanding those we serve. She will also continue to serve as the lead chair of HAWL’s public relations & website committee.

Mandi is a certified mediator and commercial litigator with experience in a variety of subject matters, including labor & employment, intellectual property, restrictive covenants, and class actions. She represents both public and private sector clients of all sizes by providing guidance before, during and after litigation. Mandi has experienced the practice of law from both sides of the bench, having clerked for U.S. District Judge Gregory A. Presnell and U.S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell, both in the Middle District of Florida. She prides herself on being efficient and responsive to her clients and is dedicated to providing practical advice tailored to fit each client’s specific goals.
