Shumaker Partners Present in Gobioff Foundation's CARES Act Webinars for Artists and Arts Organizations

TAMPA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Sarasota Partner Jan Pitchford along with Charlotte Partner Jack Santaniello and Tampa Partner Brad deBeaubien, presented in two webinars discussing the CARES Act and answering questions as it relates to Artists and Arts Organizations. Tampa Partner Erin Aebel organized Shumaker’s participation in the webinars which were sponsored by the Gobioff Foundation, a private family foundation which works to support human rights organizations and the Tampa Bay arts community.

As a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate lawyer, Jan Pitchford has represented financial institutions and other lenders in commercial lending and related activities since 1987.  Her extensive commercial lender experience includes real estate acquisition/development loans, construction and term lending, ground lease financing, and asset base lending. In addition, Jan recently completed the SBA-required intensive Closing and Funding the SBA Loan and Advanced SBA Loan Documentation and Closing courses, enabling the Sarasota and Tampa Financial Services group to continue to efficiently represent clients in SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.

Jack Santaniello has over 20 years of experience in representing companies and their owners in a wide variety of business activities, including transaction negotiations, corporate formation and dissolution, contract review, ownership transfers and disputes, management buyouts, equity succession transfers, and business and commercial litigation. 

Brad deBeaubien’s labor and employment practice focuses on representing employers in a wide variety of state and federal employment law matters, including wage and hour litigation, discrimination and retaliation actions, restrictive covenant and trade secret claims and other employment-related disputes. A management-side labor and employment lawyer, Brad also routinely assists clients in developing and updating employment policies, employee handbooks, employment and independent contractor agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and severance agreements.
