TAMPA, FL – Senior Attorney Chris Broussard has joined Shumaker’s Tampa office as a member of the Finance, Banking, Creditors’ Rights and Insolvency Service Line, which is comprised of 28 lawyers across the firm’s Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio offices.

Prior to joining Shumaker, Chris worked at a leading insolvency and commercial litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at a prominent aviation law firm in Coral Gables, Florida, and clerked at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Chris received his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law, where he was an Executive Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, served as a Bankruptcy Law teaching assistant, and received the Medal of Excellence from the American Bankruptcy Institute. While in law school, Chris also completed a Certificate in Intellectual Property through the TI:GER Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
