TAMPA, FL — In order to keep up with demand, Shumaker maintains growth in its Litigation and Community Associations practices with the addition of Staff Attorney Tawnee Bradham. Community association law continues to be one of the fastest growing areas of the law. In Florida, 3.9 million of the state’s 8.6 million homes are in a homeowners association.

“Shumaker continues to invest in new growth in 2023, and we are pleased to welcome Tawnee to our team. Her experience allows her to uniquely see things from a client’s perspective and anticipate their needs. She will be a great asset to our clients and the firm,” said Jonathan Ellis, Shumaker Partner and Community Associations Business Sector Chair.

An experienced and confident litigator, Tawnee prides herself on her ability to fully understand and empathize with the viewpoints of both sides of a case. She began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Pinellas County—a role that gave her invaluable courtroom experience, as well as the ability to maintain productive communication with clients and to handle a very high caseload. As a public defender, Tawnee handled misdemeanor and felony caseloads and tried cases by jury in both county and civil courts.
