Client Alert: Skill-Based Amusement Machine Regulation: OCCC Informational Seminars

On April 23, 2018, Ohio's new skill-based amusement machines regulations will become effective.  Under these new regulations, every location that offers its patrons merchandise prizes or gas cards in exchange for tickets or vouchers won by playing a game will be required to register and become licensed by the Ohio Casino Control Commission.

With that in mind, the Ohio Casino Control Commission is holding informational seminars for skill-based amusement machine locations and operators as set forth below.  For more information or assistance with the licensing process, please contact Kevin P. Braig at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP at 614-628-4433 or kbraig@shumaker.com.
