Shumaker partners with a diverse range of public, private, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening our communities, and because we believe every person has the power to make a difference, we give employees more than 4,000 hours of paid volunteer time each year to turn their personal passions into tangible impact.
To celebrate our centennial year, Shumaker set out to bring the power of literacy to more than 1,000,000 people by the end of 2025 to help combat the growing literacy crisis, and we reached that goal through a grassroots effort that brought employees, community partners, and friends of the firm together to host book drives, read to elementary school students, and support youth programs and tutoring centers.
