With nearly 45 years of experience as a general commercial litigator, Eric focuses his practice on representing commercial landlords involved with tenant disputes. He frequently handles eviction matters, as well as claims for damages, and his clients include large real estate developers, owners of office buildings, shopping centers, and large property management companies. Eric takes pride in successfully managing these disputes promptly and efficiently so that his clients can accomplish their goal of making their real estate productive.
In addition to his work as a litigator, Eric is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator often retained by attorneys to assist with resolving their clients' disputes through the mediation process. He also drafts commercial leases and related lease documents, including amendments and assignments.
Eric is active in the local bar association and is a past President of the St. Petersburg Bar. He helped found the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation and served as its President for four terms. For the past 12 years, he has served on the planning committee for the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation annual professionalism seminar.
An avid sailor, Eric holds a 100-ton master captain's license. He and his wife of 45 years, Judy, often take their sailboat to cruise the West Coast of Florida, the Bahamas, and the Florida Keys.
