Shumaker Continues Legacy with Leadership Florida: St. Petersburg Managing Partner Mindi M. Richter Graduates from Cornerstone Class 42

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Mindi M. Richter, Managing Partner of Shumaker's St. Petersburg office and Board Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property Law by The Florida Bar, has successfully graduated from the Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class 42. This milestone marks another significant step in Mindi's long-standing commitment to leadership and service across Florida's legal and civic communities.

Mindi is a highly regarded intellectual property (IP) attorney with a national practice. She represents clients in IP prosecution and transactional matters as well as trademark, patent, and copyright infringement cases, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, and domain name disputes. Her experience also extends to proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Deeply invested in the Tampa Bay region, Mindi's dedication to her community is as strong as her legal practice. She is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete Class of 2023, Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Federal Bar Association's Tampa Bay Chapter and the former Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. She is also a member of the ReliaQuest Bowl Selection Committee and Board of Directors, among many other civic and professional associations.
