Michael A. Snyder and Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP Donate to Soup Kitchen

Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that on December 13, 2012, Michael A. Snyder, partner in the Columbus office, delivered approximately $4500 to the Holy Family Church Soup Kitchen in order to fund and support the soup kitchen’s annual holiday meal and celebration for homeless, poor and disadvantaged persons.  Mr. Snyder’s practice is focused on business, commercial and environmental litigation.  Mr. Snyder partnered with friend and client Richard Kruse, owner of Gryphon Asset Management, to raise the funds.  Mr. Snyder and Mr. Kruse called upon the collective compassion and generosity of their co-workers and clients, and members the Leadership Columbus class of 2006 to raise the funds.  Significant contributions were received from members of Shumaker’s Columbus office, as well as Columbia Gas of Ohio.  This was the sixth year that Mr. Snyder and Mr. Kruse raised funds for this event.  They estimate that they have raised $20,000 for the soup kitchen’s holiday meal and celebration over the years.  The holiday meal was served on December 17, 2012.  More than 350 people received a hot meal at the event and additional food was made available to be taken home.  To learn more about the soup kitchen, including ways to get involved you should visit the soup kitchen’s website.
