Shumaker Attorneys and Staff Painted Habitat for Humanity House

  • 04.14.2016

SARASOTA, Fla. — Attorneys and staff from the full-service business law firm Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP painted a house for Habitat for Humanity Sarasota in Palmetto on Saturday, April 9.

Attorney Ryan S. Nichols coordinated the day of service. About 20 volunteers from Shumaker participated in painting the interior and exterior of the home.

“We want to do positive things for the community,” Nichols said. “This is something we can do to help directly.”

Shumaker attorneys are involved in a variety of charitable causes, serving on nonprofit boards and volunteering with several organizations throughout the community.

Nichols hopes volunteering with Habitat for Humanity will become a yearly tradition.
