CHARLOTTE, NC – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that partner Lisa Hoffman was selected as one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s STANDOUT Charlotte 2016 honorees. Lisa’s primary area of focus is medical malpractice defense.  She received her B.S. degree in Communications from Appalachian State University and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where she served on the International Travel Law Journal and was a member of the Pro Bono Honor Program.  Prior to joining Shumaker, Lisa was an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State Attorney, Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Charlotte Chapter and its Board of Directors announced the 20 honorees for the 7th Annual STANDOUT Charlotte program on July 28, 2016. The STANDOUT program, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, honors young professionals throughout the Charlotte area. The chosen honorees exemplify leadership qualities, are active in volunteer roles and have excelled in the business community. Those selected are among the most prominent, influential and successful young professionals in our community.
