SARASOTA, Fla. — Daniel R. Strader, an associate in the Sarasota office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, presented "New Overtime Pay Rule - What You Need to Know" to a full house at The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.  Dan's law practice focuses on employment law litigation and counseling, representing employers in a wide variety of employment claims, including wage and hour litigation, discrimination claims, contract disputes and enforcement of restrictive covenants.  He regularly counsels clients on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws including the FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADA and ADEA.  Dan also assists clients with reviewing and drafting employment documents such as handbooks, employment contracts, non-compete agreements and severance agreements, and performs audits of clients' employee recordkeeping practices.
