CHARLOTTE, NC –Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Jack Santaniello, a partner in the Charlotte, North Carolina office, was elected a member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Class of 2019. The Chamber’s Board Nominating Committee decides the proposed incoming Chamber Member Class by making recommendations in accordance with the Chamber’s bylaws and then submitting the nominations to the Chamber general membership for approval.

Jack’s principal areas of practice are general corporate and commercial transactional matters, including corporate formation and dissolution, copyright and federal and state trademark matters, as well as franchise, distribution and licensing law. He has extensive experience in representing companies and their owners in a wide variety of business activities, including transaction negotiations, contract review, shareholder disputes, business and commercial litigation. Jack also has experience in non-profit organizations, commercial bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters as well as securities law matters. Jack earned his B.S. and received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
