TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Tampa partner Michele Leo Hintson served as a panelist at HR Tampa’s 2016 Diversity Summit on November 16, 2016 at the Centre Club.  The panel included Sophia Reed with the National Diversity Council, and Ashley Brundage with PNC Bank.  The panel discussion emphasized how the human resource professional can create a more diverse and inclusive workplace community. 

Michele is a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group and serves as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which is dedicated to attracting, retaining and promoting individuals with diverse backgrounds to ensure Shumaker reflects the clients it represents and its values of inclusion.  Michele is also Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Initiative which fosters the development of firm’s female attorneys at each stage of their careers.  She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator.  Michele received her J.D., cum laude,  from Stetson University College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
