Yadley participated in the “Business Law Boot Camp” sponsored by the National Business Law Institute in Orlando on July 24, 2017. Greg’s presentation focused on Preparing Common Business Contracts.
Greg is Co-Chair of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick’s Corporate Practice Group in Tampa. He serves as a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Companies since his September 2011 appointment. He is past Chair of the ABA Business Law Section’s Middle Market and Small Business Committee and Co-Chair of the Private Placement Broker-Dealer Task Force. He is past Chairman of the Florida Bar’s Business Law Section (and former Chair of the Corporations and Securities Committee), and has been a member of that Section’s Executive Counsel since 1984. Greg formerly served as Branch Chief at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Assistant General Counsel for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, both in Washington, D.C., prior to entering private practice in Tampa, Florida with Shackleford, Farrior, Stallings & Evans, P.A. and Dykema Gossett. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a frequent lecturer and contributor to legal periodicals, co-author of The Florida Bar Florida Corporate Practice Manual and Chair of the Annual Federal Securities Institute.
