TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Mark A. Catchur, a current member of the firm’s national Management Committee, has been named Managing Partner of the Tampa office, succeeding Julio C. Esquivel. Julio served as Managing Partner for the past three years. Ronald A. Christaldi has also been named to the firm’s national Management Committee.

Mark’s practice involves all aspects of corporate and securities laws for emerging stage and start-up companies. He routinely advises clients on their growth and development and participates in a diverse array of transactions, from public offerings and private placements of securities to mergers and acquisitions. He also counsels clients on their daily corporate needs and has extensive experience assisting with federal and state securities law compliance. Mark received his J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University and his M.B.A. and B.A., cum laude, from the University of South Florida.
Ron is a business lawyer with experience in both transactions and litigation and is the Co-Chair of the Healthcare practice group in the Tampa, Florida office. Ron is also the President and CEO of Shumaker Advisors Florida, providing public affairs and governmental relations services. Ron is a Board Certified Health Lawyer and is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Ron has also been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and selected Florida Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine. He is also Past Chair of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
