Ron is a business lawyer with experience in both transactions and litigation and is the Co-Chair of the Health Care Practice group in the Tampa, Florida office.  Ron is also the President and CEO of Shumaker Advisors Florida, providing public affairs and governmental relations services.  Ron is a Board Certified Health Lawyer and is AV^® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  Ron has also been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and selected Florida Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine.  He is also Past Chair of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Ron received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, his M.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University, and his B.A. from New College of Florida.
