TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Tampa partner Ronald A. Christaldi has been named Chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Suncoast Chapter’s 2018 Tampa Light The Night Walk. Light The Night is LSS’ largest annual fundraising event held each fall to find cures and provide access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
Ron is a business lawyer with experience in both transactions and litigation and is the Co-Chair of the Health Care Practice group in the Tampa, Florida office. Ron is also the President and CEO of Shumaker Advisors Florida, providing public affairs and governmental relations services. Ron is a Board Certified Health Lawyer and is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Ron has also been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and selected Florida Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine. He is also Past Chair of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Each year, Light The Night brings together friends, family members and co-workers who form fundraising teams to support lifesaving research and improve the quality of lives of patients and their families. Participants in nearly 200 communities across North America join together carrying illuminated lanterns to take steps to end cancer – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer.
