TAMPA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, is pleased to announce that Tampa associate Wiline Justilien Davis was the keynote speaker at the Museum of Discovery and Science’s 5th Annual Friends of MODS’ Building Fantastic Futures Luncheon on May 9, 2018 at the Tower Club Ft. Lauderdale.

At the age of 14, Wiline was afforded the opportunity of a paid internship at MODS through the YATSEE (Youth Achievement Through Science Education and Employment) program.  YATSEE has since evolved and its successor programs are now funded, in part, by the Building Fantastic Futures Campaign.  Building Fantastic Futures is an outreach effort to provide youth development and specialized internship programs for the underserved, special needs and economically disadvantaged student populations.  These programs help students develop basic job skills, discover career aptitudes, enrich their STEM education and build a better future.

Wiline received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, her M.A. in Teaching from American University and her B.A. from Tulane University.
