SARASOTA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Sarasota Associate Brett Henson presented on the topic of “Dispute Resolution for Design Professionals and Construction Specifiers” at the monthly meeting of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Suncoast Chapter on January 8, 2019. CSI’s mission is to advance building information management and education of specification writers, design professionals, constructors, and material suppliers to improve facility performance.

Brett is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. He is focused in the areas of commercial and construction litigation. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to handling all types of construction disputes, including: claims related to breach of contract, delay damages, workmanship and design defects, fidelity and surety bonds, and Florida’s Construction Lien Law.
