SARASOTA, FL – The law firm of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to welcome Scott J. Kalish to our Sarasota office as an associate in the Litigation practice.

Scott focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and construction litigation and has extensive experience representing community associations in a broad range of litigation matters. 

Scott is a former Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida where he gained invaluable trial experience representing the State in a variety of cases.

Scott received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law and his B.A. in History with a minor in Spanish and a Certificate in Latin American Studies, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University.
