TAMPA, FL – Shumaker Advisors Florida, LLC is pleased to announce that Principal, Amy Maguire will be speaking at the Working Women of Tampa Bay Conference on Friday, September 6, 2019. Amy will be speaking on “Bringing Your “A” Game: Being Authentic, Accountable, and Appreciative.”

Amy has been serving Tampa Bay for more than 20 years. She started several companies, has worked for the nation’s top for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, and been an advocate for women, children, and families. As a principal for Shumaker Advisors, she serves clients in public affairs and government relations. A 20 year veteran lobbyist and corporate philanthropy expert, Amy has experience across countless sectors, including health care, economic development, and the environment, to name a few. 

Amy chairs Women United, an affinity group of United Way, focused on early childhood learning and financial literacy. She has served as a volunteer board member with Feeding Tampa Bay, the YMCA, SPCA, and other community groups. Amy recently published her first book, BE 12, The Energy To Live Your Values.
