SARASOTA, FL – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Patrick Chucri has joined the firm’s Sarasota office as an associate in the Broker-Dealer Litigation and Arbitration practice group.

Patrick concentrates his practice on representing large financial institutions and high net-worth individuals in securities litigation and violations of contractual covenants. His practice also focuses on commercial litigation, employment law, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Patrick was tapped into the prestigious Florida Blue Key while in law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Patrick was also Vice-President of the University of Florida Levin College of Law Trial Team and a member of the University of Florida Levin College of Law Alternative Dispute Resolution Team.

Prior to joining Shumaker, Patrick spent time with the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington D.C. as an honors legal intern.  

Patrick studied business at the University of Florida and is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
