Katelyn R. Dwyer Joins Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP

TOLEDO, OH – Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is pleased to announce that Katelyn (Katie) R. Dwyer has joined the Toledo office as an associate in the Litigation practice group.

Katie has experience in a wide variety of litigation matters, including business disputes, employment matters, tort claims, and insurance issues. Known for her attention to detail and outside-the-box thinking, Katie takes great pride in her ability to research issues and solve problems for her clients. She is also involved in the firm’s Sports and Entertainment practice group where she utilizes her long-held passion for sports to advocate for her clients in contract and Title IX matters.

A native of the metro-Detroit area, Katie attended the University of Michigan where she majored in sport management and held a variety of sports-related internships, including working for the Michigan Men’s Basketball team. Katie then went on to attend law school at The University of Tennessee College of Law where she was a graduate research assistant and served as Executive Editor of the Tennessee Law Review. During law school, Katie served as an intern in the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
